FREE & OPEN TO EVERYONE WHO GROWS FOOD OR WANTS TO GROW FOOD!
This event is brought to you by Co-Hosts Jim Embry of Sustainable Communities Network and Heather Hyden of NoLi CDC on behalf of healthy food, healthy soils, and healthy communities!
As part of the recent Plant and Play Grant received by NoLi CDC, we are exploring how an urban agriculture network of growers, advocates and service providers could be a community resource. This is a planning and visioning process that will take place in three meetings. These meetings will include asset mapping, identifying needs, networking with other gardeners, advocates and organizations as well as opportunity for YOU to shape the vision and structure of the network.
First event: February 3, 3pm-6pm at Episcopal Diocese of Lexington - 203 E 4th St, Lexington, Kentucky 40508
- Food will be provided for all who attend
-Childcare can also be arranged and we encourage young people to participate. Please let us know if you have childcare needs.
