Community Partners

Blue Grass Community Foundation is a Lexington-based non-profit where people go to give—of their passion, money and ideas—to enhance the quality of life in Central and Eastern Kentucky. BGCF helps individuals, families, businesses, communities and nonprofit organizations establish charitable funds, guide their resources to support causes they care about, meet community needs and make a difference.  BGCF was instrumental in securing many of NoLi CDC's large grants, including the original ArtPlace grant that served as the basis for NoLi CDC's formation.

Seedleaf is a neighborhood partner working to increase the amount, affordability, nutritional value, and sustainability of food available to people at risk of hunger in central Kentucky.  NoLi CDC partners with Seedleaf on the North Pole Garden, as well as trash/recycling/composting sorting at the Night Market, and neighborhood trash cleanups that are part of the FY2015 Sustainability work.

Bluegrass Greensource is a THE source for all things green in central Kentucky, encouraging small steps toward a sustainable future for our communities.  Formerly known as Bluegrass PRIDE, Bluegrass Greensource is a non-profit organization that provides education and resources on how we affect our environment. Since 2001, we have provided outreach to schools, community groups, businesses, local governments, and citizens throughout Central Kentucky.  Bluegrass Greensource is a partner on the Rain Barrel aspect of the FY2015 Sustainability work.
